Choose electric over gas-powered machines

If you’re considering replacing your machine, choose electric over gas-fired contraptions, in order to reduce harmful emissions that affect our air quality and contribute to greenhouse gases.

Acknowledging the Williams Lake “airshed” is a technical boundary, mapped over the lands of the T'exelcemc (Williams Lake) and Xat’sull (Soda Creek) First Nations, we recognize this traditional gathering place (Columneetza), which has been stewarded by the Northern Secwepemc Peoples for thousands of years, as currently home to a wide range of First Nations (Tsilhqot'in, Dakelh-Dene, Métis Peoples) and Settler-Immigrant Peoples.
